GAH. The update's finally up. I was worried the quest would be purged, but luckily this place moves slower than most. Which is good news since I'm only really active at midnight.
In other news we finally got info on what our shadow COULD be, but it might not be that simple.

We don't really purge topics here. We let them sit on the board until they finish or we're reasonably sure they aren't going to be updated anymore; then we move them to the archives or the graveyard.

Oh god I think I lost a few brain cells writing the last update. On the plus side, we'll soon be back in the thick of things, and a lot of information will be revealed tonight about the way the War is fought, depending on how we move.

Yeah, I remember now reading about how topics work here, it's just that with every other #chan and message board I go on, stuff moves so fast that you have to bump every 5 seconds or you get swept over. Hey, this is a better system for Quests in my opinion.

Also, just to clear it up our main character is kind of in a weird state. He's capable of higher thinking, but he needs us to help him along. This sounds like every Quest protagonist in regards to choosing what to do and such, but telling when people are lying and forming opinions is your job.

Related to that, I'm curious. What made you think the girl was lying (yeah i know it was obvious)? Better yet, what reason would she have to lie in the first place? I'd like to hear some hypotheses.

Yeaaaaaaaaah sorry for the sporadic updates. I've been working for the family, my friend is making me draw crap for him and so on and so forth.

Oh, just so you know, that bit about the iron pipe is kind of important in the long run.

Oh, and we're about 2 or 3 frames at most from our first actual fight here. I'm going to tell you right now, it will not be what you suspect.

I have a tablet now! Therefore, the update images should increase in quality as I get more used to the tablet.

Bad News!~
It is likely that the speed of updates will decrease, as I am going back home to start school. I'll try to update as much as possible, but my house does not have internet due to... circumstances. This means that I have to go to a friends house or the library to update.

Updates should now be at the quality of the last one posted, at least the areas that we haven't seen yet.
