If you go out to meet Lorence, make sure you are ready invade he decides to hurt you. You can see his mind too so you should know if he will or not. If you can get close enough you can also put him to sleep. The sleep aura will do that but it takes a while. You can also give him a slight touch and he will fall asleep almost instantly but I don't think he is the kind of person who necessarily likes to be touched. And act blind, you can say goodbye to people you meet along the way, but make it as in passing, like you will see them again. We'll come back for your father, I know Ana would. She has her farther somewhere around here too, Mr. Tiova. She doesn't know it yet though...
