You glare at him.
Swabluff: "Don't get me wrong boy. I litterally can't come with you. I'm unfortunately a very busy man, and my business can't stop for too long."
>Tell him you understand, since he is a very busy man, but would appreciate any info he has to give
You nod to him and ask away.
Which he replies with a smile.
Swabluff: "I spent these days doing accomodations and plans myself."
He hands you a scroll with something written on it. Why are all these people fixated with written words jeez!
Swabluff: "That's a permit, written by my own hand and signed. It will allow you to sleep and eat for free at any tavern that belongs to me"
He points to the end of the paper, where a weird symbol is inscribed on it.
Swabluff: "just look for this symbol and you'll know it belongs to the McBluff family."
He then grabs a bunch of letters and scrolls that were resting on his right and holds them in front of you.
Swabluff: "And secondly!I told you that going alone was dangerous. So, as soon as i came back, i sent messages to all the people that owe me a favour and to friends that i know i can rely on. Six of them replied me back today. Saying that they will be up to help in your quest. You need to consider that a party should never get over four people, mostly due to logistic problems and big parties tend to attract unwanted attention, so i think it will be good to choose only three of them. All of them are veteran adventurers or extremely capable people.
The first one is Rutgar Malababa, an orc from the eastern lands. I have known him for a long time. Possibly the strongest creature i have ever seen walk the world. He doesn't really like to talk much about his past and he has problem with alcohol and he doesn't like being around too many people. But trust me, he's very reliable and durable when it comes to fighting.
The second one is Oplon Scutum, wielder of the sacred Aegis of Tesalvo. A pious man that gave up his noble life in order to wander the world in order to protect the innocent and the weak. He tends to be a stick in the mud when it comes to laws and rules. And for the love of all the stars, don't you even try to discuss about religion with him. Due to his creed, he doesn't believe in killing, and prefers to find other ways to subdue the enemy, if necessary. But he is also adept at water magic and healing.
Then comes Sir Alaiv, the onion knight. He is a rather weird guy. His name is due to his awful smell that seem to always follow him (and i think he actually likes). But he is the greatest fencer that i have ever seen. He is also really knowleadgeable about nobility and history. Even more than me! And that says something ahah!
Fourth in the list is Paxetira, the elven sorceress. An extremely volatile and vain person, but her magical knowledge and sheer power is undeniable. She has a disgust for insects and a crippling phobia for snakes, but aside that she'll never back down from anything.
Fifth is Takabanda Gottascream, the wraith singer. Wielder of the haunted horn of Loudmouth. The greatest dwarven bard. He's a master of songs, from soothing sounds to battle marches to healing hymns. He can be a bit bombastic and loud, but he's incredibly charismatic and diplomatic when it's needed.
Last, but not least is Sizzle, a young Faelking alchemist. She's young and really curios, but she is extremely smart, both street and book. She in fact recently graduated from Fael's most important alchemy college with her thesis about empowered regeneration potions. What she lacks in dungeon experience is covered by her wits and equipment."
He stops and looks at you, letting things sink for a bit.
Swabluff: "So, what do you think?"
