Snow Night

>Idly wonder to yourself what a fresh raw Serpens egg would taste like, then what they'd taste like cooked, before realizing your thoughts have strayed into somewhat disturbing territory and refocus.
…your mind can’t help put slip into the thought about how oral stimulation for a Serpens would work… especially the release part…
>I bet your kind of hungry, you should go get something to eat.
You just drank a Serpent Plankton soup, so you’re fine. Besides, there are just a few hours before its dinner time.
>Knowledge is power!
Power equals energy and energy equals mass, thus proving why libraries are so heavy. Flawless logic!
>I think so far we've managed to learn quite a bit about the various species, both inside and out, today's been really productive.
While you’ve learned a lot of theory, you still need some firsthand experience… not that kind of experience, geez!
>How long does the mating process take for Serpens?
Now that you got a handy guide you can look it up without embarrassing yourself. Let’s see… normally about 20min to an hour. Generally, the mating process is faster if they are only two partners, be it male/female, ovale/female or male/ovale, all three which seems be rather common.
>Hang on, 2cm wide? That's... fairly narrow. 6cm on the other hand is pretty thick. I suppose things work differently for Serpens.
Let’s see what the book says… it’s possible she was just eyeballing it and the book will have some more accurate numbers… Hmm… oh, the book even has a handy chart for all the species! Neat! Let’s see, average length from longest to shortest: Cibic: 110cm, Serpens (Ovale): 19cm, Serpens (Male): 16cm, Human: 14cm, Hiver: 13.5cm, Sakkil: 13cm. Note: (Cibic length measured from the Nic body and not when exiting the Cin body).
Then we have the diameter, from the thickest: Hiver: 5.2cm, Sakkil: 4.1cm, Human: 3.8cm, Serpens (Male): 3.2cm, Serpens (Ovale): 2.8, Cibic: 1.5cm. Note: (Ovale Serpens thickness increases to about 4.5 – 5.5cm around an existing egg, depending on the size of the egg.).
…well, then… everything you ever needed to know about dicks…
>Why do Cibics need a prehensile noodle-y penis that's more than half as long as they are tall to mate?
While it’s easy to forget even for you, but you have to remember that you’re not actually the Cin amoeba creature, but the Nic insect inside it located at the end of its spine, thus it’s actually about three times your size. The length evolved because of the way your mating works, as it must not only be long enough to reach outside your own host body, but into the host body of your partner. This, coupled with the large Cin piles your kind mated in more primal times, ensured that the Nic’s with longer and more prehensile tools was the ones who got their genes passed on.
>The promiscuity makes sense when you think about it. For Serpens, the chance of anything unexpected is low without three participants.
Hmm… that can be a reason, yes… you also know they had a rather well evolved and complex medical science even before joining the unity, so it’s possible they’ve haven’t had problems with those kind of diseases that should hamper such activity for a long time.
>Now that you're on a space station have you considered getting space suit training and certification so you could go outside and get an even purer SPACE experience?
Of course! But it’s a bit over your budget at the moment. You’ll need to at least start getting regular paychecks before you sign off for a proper spacewalk.
>Or going even further and getting a small spacecraft pilot's license?
You actually choose the space pilot academy as your first choice when looking for further education, but sadly your grades wasn’t good enough. Apparently, being a pilot is very popular nowadays.
>Oh, you could send a message to Susan about Shilse asking if she's interested; Maybe even take an image of Shilse and attach it.
Message sent!
>From the way Shilse reacted to finding out you're a Peacekeeper it sounds like she's had some encounters with the law for what she's doing before she came to New Horizon. Ask her why she thought you might arrest her for what she's been doing and what kind of run-ins she's had with the cops before and where.
Cops? Um… I’ve never been arrested, if that’s what you’re asking. It’s just, I’ve heard you’re rather hard on crime out here.
We are? I can’t say we are, really… mostly because there are so few crimes here.
…well, I’ve heard you have so few crimes because you make criminals disappear! Just like that!
I’m pretty sure we don’t do that. In fact, I’m pretty sure the mantises would come down on us like a hammer if we so much looked at a bribe funny.
>Does she have any hobbies other than trying to get laid?
Well, I like to paint... and… um… this might sound a bit nerdy, but I love that human game… what’s it called… Q&Q?
Never heard of it.
>what's her job and where she's working while on New Horizon.
I’m an Uredo horticulturist… you know, a Uredo seeder. It’s kind of like being a gardener or farmer, but with things that becomes… well, people.
Ah, yes, I know how the Uredo reproduce… I have to say, personally I’m a little weirded out how… callous they can be of their own young.
Well, in their eyes they are just plants until they’ve fully grown…
And not knowing… or even caring who your parents are…
I can’t say I’ll agree on that. I mean, I don’t know who my parents are, like most Serpens.
You don’t… oh, right, don’t your kind just… leave their young?
We leave them with trained professionals who’ll raise them. Why let someone without any experience raise it that has more important work to do when you can let someone with training do it?
…sorry to say this, but you guys are weird.
You’re the one to talk, Ms. “actually two feral animals combined”….
>Continue the tactile trend you started with Susan and ask Shilse if you could feel her arm to see what Serpens skin is like, and in exchange offering the same of you for her.
Heh, you’re all gooey… kind of nice… can I… um… stick my hand inside you?
I would recommend not to, as I’m made out of acid. Hmm… you’re all bumpy…
Yeah, that’s the pores that absorb nutrients for us. Got them over my whole body… almost.
>I wonder how she feels about trying to bed an SAI.
A SAI? …hmm… it would be kind of interesting… if it looked alien enough… or maybe even robotic. As long as it’s exotic, see…
>Oh and if you need a distraction, LOOK A PURPLE THING, LET'S LOOK AT IT AND TALK ABOUT SOMETHING OTHER THEN SEXAUL ORGANS.
Oh, look! A ship is going by!
Oh, it’s beautiful!
You have any idea what kind it is?
Going by its size, I’m going to guess some kind of freighter… I’m guessing it came with stuff for the anniversary.
>Tell Shilse you're off-duty right now, so if she wants you could walk with her for a bit and help her with her social interactions; Spot and warn her if she's going too far and such.
Well… I’d love to hang out, but I don’t know if I want you hanging over my shoulder, judging me…
Then let’s hang out!
>You haven't taken in the art gallery on this level yet so how 'bout you suggest you two go over there and have a look to satisfy your cultural curiosity a bit more.
Oh, I’ve totally missed that we had an art gallery here. Look, they even have a personal crafting area! I have to come here and paint sometime!
