Well, he's always very worried about me and Jeremy. Sometimes I have to remind him I can take care of myself, now, you know?

Sometimes Jeremy can come off as a bit rude, too, I think, which makes Lee nervous. It makes more than a few people nervous, when I think about it. But he means well!

I think in a few minutes, when I'm finished, I'll start to make my way home. I don't think Jeremy's gonna make it tonight.

That's okay, though.

>>490913

Of course I have! Why would I be named anything else? Isn't Lucy such a pretty name? Pretty pretty pretty.

I had several brothers and sisters! They're all over the place, now, though. I couldn't be able to find them if I tried, to be honest.

Oh, she was very sweet to everyone! To everyone she knew she was always very friendly! Sometimes she'd make cakes for my brothers just because she wanted to. Such a sweet lady.

I used to be very close with my oldest brother, and a little sister of mine. She's living somewhere in the woods now, I think, calling herself 'Moonbreeze' or some such silliness.
>>

most siblings tend to fight for a portion of their life over their love and will to please their mother

you're very lucky to have been close to them, lucy

He-- I haven't spoken to him in a very long time. Since I was very small, and could not see very well. He did not stay.

I-I suppose you're right! I am very lucky. Most kids never really get that, I suppose.

I think I should leave now.

"Lee, I think I'm gonna head ho--"

>"I'll give you a lift!"

"N-No, Lee, that's okay. I kind of need to think for a little while."

I need to just go home now, I think.

I hate to be so gruff with Lee... but it's really hard to think right now! Where is Jeremy why didn't he come didn't he know how p re tt y I was going to look for him?

I shake my head, restless all of a sudden now.

Something is wrong with me today, I think.

I start to walk home.

You might be right... but I just don't want to cause anyone any worry. I'm sure once I get home and have a glass of wine, I'll be fine! I'm just so jumpy right now... I don't really like thinking about things as much as I just did. It brought up some questions I don't have answers to, and I think I SHOULD have those.

The answers, I mean. Ohh, I am just a mess!

You might want to call a cab if you are really not feeling well. Did Lee ever try going out with you? I mean if he happened to be your friend for a long time, and he works with you...
You two seem to be closer than you and your boyfriend. (god I suck at formatting tonight)

It's only a short walk, I'll be there in five minutes! I'm a bit short on cash anyway, to be honest... I'll have to pay Lee for that salad when I go in tomorrow.

Him and me, though? I never really thought about it! He's my best friend in the whole world, and he's so nice and patient with me! I can't possibly imagine him trying something like that. I'd definitely have to talk to him about it, if he did have those sorts of feelings for me. I don't think it's change my perception of him very much though, you know? He's very kind. He'd never try to hurt me.

I do see him a bit more than I see Jeremy, that's true, but Jeremy's my boyfriend! Who just happens to be very busy! A lot of the time! He can't help stuff like that. And I understand.

M-my purpose? I don't know, really. I think in a lot of ways I was just meant to live a happy life, you know? Be a good person. Do good things. At least I try to.

When I reach the building, I climb up the stairs and find my door.

I find my key and enter the apartment.

[and, while i say that, this'll be my last post tonight. i gotta sleep and junk.]

>>490992

Well, right after I had my surgery and then, my recovery, I was really low on cash. I had to stay with Lee for a few months, and he wouldn't let me work yet... said I was too weak! What a laugh.

For a while, I did some light labor. For a charity organization outside of town! Building houses and things! It was really hard for me, but sometimes Jeremy would volunteer in the same places I was working and I would talk to him! He was very funny.

The apartment seems mostly bare, right now, but the bedroom door is ajar and the TV is on.

>>491014

Why would I do something like that? I'd never do something so vulgar, especially while Jeremy was asleep! That might scare him, knowing how paranoid he gets lately.

I walk up to the bedroom door though, and sure enough, there he is. Looks like he's been passed out for nearly an hour. I suppose I probably should've expected that, knowing how hard he works. It's all to keep me as happy as can be! And I am. So happy happy happy

>>491007

I was in a very bad way for a while after the surgery, which is why I insisted Lee let me start working again as soon as possible! I had to have money, so I could be happy! Of course charity work doesn't exactly bring in the dough, does it... Man, I was such a goof! Thank goodness I have Jeremy to take care of me now.

Oh boy, all KINDS of red flags are just PILING ON right now...
Don't disturb his slumber, my feline friend.
Also, I believe you asked us what we were at some point.

There are many theories and explanations, ranging from the bits and pieces of a fractured psyche, to gods trapped in jewelry, and even tormented spirits bound to one's mind.

We are none of these things, in all honesty. We are simply... Guides, I suppose. We are somewhat omnipresent, being able to see you as if looking at you through a computer screen.

And while some of us will try to lead you astray, most others will intend to drive you to be successful in life and in obtaining any goals you might set.

Back on topic, there is not NEARLY enough fun going on. Go find your fave toy and relieve some stress while your boyfriend sleeps.

I'm not sure what you mean by toys, but I found my laptop! I decide to sit down with it and relax a little while. That's fun! Do you guys not think I'm fun?

I think I understand what you're saying. I'm not all that sure I like this, though. I want to be normal! Normal people don't have crazy voices in their heads, right?

Not-- Not saying you guys are crazy! But I just don't... I'm not used to having people tell me what I need to do, you know? Not in a snarky way, but there's only ever been one voice up there before. And that's mine! I'm pretty sure. It sounds like me, at least!

I check on my sites a little bit, ignoring the pop-ups for that dumb farm game Lee talked me into.

A beep catches my attention, and I notice someone's trying to chat with me.

When you find your destined soul mate he will be nice and patient with you, the best friend you have in the whole world. He will help you when you're down and support you when you're up. He will show up on time for your anniversary, even if it isn't his own. Something just draws him to you, and you to him.

Most girls reject their soul mate forever, and die unsettled and unloved. It's really very sad. Is it because of societal pressures, or is it in our nature for some twisted reason? Are we not meant to be happy?
>>

Sorry if we're driving you a little nuts, not sure how long we'll be here, but I doubt that you're crazy! Like someone else said, we're not sure what we are, other than guides really, but who knows, maybe we'll come in handy, help you win Jeopardy or ace a test or something ^-^

(what boyfriend things she and Jeremy do together "But he's provided so much for me, especially since I've met him. Why, it was only a few weeks before he'd offered to help get me a job here! And he's let me stay with him, too!")

He checks all the boxes, (except getting her a job, because he wanted her to heal first) is closer to her than her boyfriend, and she doesn't think anything of it. That is pretty much the friend zone exactly.
