Nothing works using 0:00, so you try the equal 24:00.

When you reach drain and the roughest wash the door clicks.

The inside of the machine seems to have been hollowed out.

Inside is a rough looking key.

You take the KEY OF HELL.

"So you've seen the news right? Aliens!"

"Yeah I know, it's crazy stuff"

"Outright hostile?"

"What, you mean like conscription? I hope not."

"Yeah see you tonight I guess."

Oh, the screen did change. That looks... worrying.

You're pretty sure that you were talking to the guy you were with in the other flashback. But it was weird - you felt like an outside observer looking in on the conversation.

You try both keys in the last cabinter. They both fit but won't turn unless they move simultaneously. it requires a bit dexerty on your part but you manage it.

The doors click open.

Two floor tiles have started glowing like the orbs.
>>
No. 496938 ID: 14bafe

I'd say Sun on the darker tile, and Moon on the lighter tile.
>>
No. 496939 ID: 78c6ea

No that's too simple. First you have to discover the secret cabinet behind the washing machine, locked of course. Then you have to stand on one foot while reciting the Battle Hymn of the Republic until the sunlight reaches precisely the right angle to illuminate the key. Instead of unlocking the cabinet though, the key is meant to be eaten whole where it will infuse with your bio-matrix and give you the gift of third sight, revealing the invisible jigsaw puzzle with one piece missing (which is of course inside the cabinet).

496940

You place the orbs on the tiles, nothing seems to happen. The gaps between the tiles on this floor dont seem to be filled in with caulk.

>secret cabinet, battle hymn
You uh... you really hope it isn't gonna be that complex.
>>
No. 496941 ID: 14bafe

Huh. Thought that was just a texture. Maybe you could use your Pick to lift up the tiles? Maybe there are slots under the lit tiles for you to put the orbs.
>>
No. 496946 ID: f2c20c

>>496940
Try lifting up the tiles. Heck, try that on a few random tiles too, but don't spend more than a few seconds on that.

497388

You try switching the orbs, but still nothing happens.

You can't lift the tiles up with your hands. You think you could manage it with the wedge you found earlier - but if that doesn't work you worry you may break the handle of the thing.
>>
No. 497395 ID: f2c20c

Well, before we do that, see if you can break through the cracked wall in the corner that we could see when you looked at the vent.

You've seen everything you can under the washing machine. You can't lift it up and the insides were hollowed out anyway.

You try kicking in the cracked wall near the vent... Ooooooooooowwww.

That didn't work so well.
>>
No. 497425 ID: f2c20c

Welp. Just try the wedge on the moon-colored tile then.

You try lifting the darker tile with the wedge. It works, revealing a small indent in the ground underneath. You place the darker orb in the indent and it locks into place.

You repeat this for the lighter tile. The moment the orb locks in the ground starts shaking.

The GALAXY DOOR has been opened.

You feel a feint pain in you chest.

Fucking heck these puzzles are giving you a heart attack. No literally. Try not to exert yourself. What happens when you stand on the red spot?

Pry up the tiles above the red glow. You gotta get to the door!
>>

Try switching the orbs. If the metaphysical relationship here is giving you a heart attack in that configuration, maybe reversing it will stop draining your life force.

You attempt switching the orbs, but they seem to be stuck in place now.

You pry up the tiles above the red glow reavealing an open hatch. You can't tell where it's hole leads or how deep it goes.
