WOO, let's DO THIS!
"There isn't much to say about the night sky. It's dark, it's sparkly, and there isn't much you can really DO with it.
Reminds you of myself, Actually."

"Of course, that is a bit of a false realization. I am very useful. I keep entire realities in check, and despite my all-too-present mortality, I do suppose I do a fine enough job of things.
And if things go well, this one should be protected as well.

Now, we have a bit of time before the Golem reawakens. Why not ask me a few questions while he's out, hm?"

What's he made of? How does he work? Why'd you really build him? He looks nothing like a person.

"Haha, YES! That is MUCH more like it! Sorry about the dramatic opening, my friends! Bit of a running joke of mine, introductions. Anyhow, I'll gladly answer those questions now!"

"Our artificial friends are more often than not crafted as a steel-plated mechanical marvel of my particular offshoot of humanity's technological prowess!"

"They are sort of like robots, but without all that nasty limitations of silicon-based circuitry.
No, OUR golems are made of much more intriguing stuff! We found a way to SYNTHESIZE brain matter! Now, it IS still in the testing stages, and is not approved for medical use JUST yet. That is why the golems exist!
They are essentially trial drones!"

"However, these drones tend to be very simple-minded, and are easily manipulated into performing menial tasks.
OUR specimen, however, is the first Golem to have ever been implanted with a fully-realized brain! There are, of course, a FEW side-effects. The voices, for one thing.
It seems to help him along, however, so no harm in it I suppose!"

"And of course he doesn't look human! That's INTENTIONAL! We don't want him TOO integrated, no! That would make it FAR to easy. That, and the human skull does not have the capacity for the brain I have in him."

Ah, okay.

Why is one eye higher than the other?

Okay, let me get this straight. What exactly is Drillgorge's body is made of? Metallic alloys and such, with lighter alloys and possibly ceramics/plastics in use for limbs, with heavier alloys and the like used for protecting the torso area?

Also, you have full-blown tissue synthesis and have created a fully realized brain for Drillgorge? Does he have anything else inside him, some other organs or whatever?

"He is coated in a very flexible and VERY strong alloy of several metallic substances not naturally found in this particular rendition of the universe, my friends!

And the eye was a bit of a mishap during the creation process. I think it adds to the aesthetic, though, so I see no need to do anything about it!"

You didn't really answer most of his questions.

"Ah, right. Sorry, things tend to slip my mind a lot.
Generally speaking, our good chum is a solid lump of living tissues that can adapt to serve whatever purpose is needed, but with an outer shell of hardened fiberglass and assorted alloy platings."
"And yes, tissue synthesis is indeed somethign that is very very common these days. At least, back home it is. Not sure about this dimension, but still!"

Thank you for answering my questions. Have some more! :p

You mentioned something about 'keeping realities in check', what exactly do you mean by that? Also, what do you mean by 'this dimension', is this golem's trial done not in it's native reality or whatever?

"As I already explained, questions involving those sorts of things aren't quite ready to be answered yet. At least, I am fairly sure I explained this...
Rest assured though, things will become clear soon enough!"
"So, how about me? Not to seem self-centered, but all these questions seem to be about the experiment, as opposed to the creator!"

Kind of thought you would like to stay anonymous or whatever. But alright, who are you and what is your name?

"Now what would be the point of that, hm? I've never been the BEST at keeping secrets, so it's best to just be up front about these things, you know? Bah, rambling again!

My name is Archive. I'm a scientist and... traveler would be the word, I suppose! That bit sort of loops back on the "can't explain certain things at this juncture" thing, but generally speaking I do research on the nature of existence, or I suppose existences. That's about as much as I can say right now.
I'm going to be a lot more active with my creation then I have let him know, by the way. I would appreciate it if you would keep that a secret from him."

"Good to know, my ethereal friends! Now, if you'll excuse me, the notification network is alerting me of another containment breach in sector delta. I'll patch you back through to the golem, he should be reactivating himself soon enough!"
"Until next time, my friends!"
