It seems Alice can not fly up more then three spaces.

Shit, now the train starts rolling. Okay, well, overlord's HP is not at risk here, since this thing primarily kills by doom, I think. Alice, dark arrow, full charge. Overlord, he's still close to you. Close the gap and slash again.

Yep, Dark Arrow and slashing.

Also, target the orb. It might deal quite a bit of damage if broken, disable his magic, etc. If it disables magic, it might even dispel Doom, depending on if it requires a constant.. "focus" that the construct's mastered and made second nature by now, or if it's already.. latched onto you and it just taking its time.

If we break the orb we won't get it as loot after the battle.

Toss him the watch, you really are being awfully stubborn. He might even join of his own accord now or later if you just hand it over.

Smart bugger. Stop allows him to speed up Doom and gives us less time to damage him. Don't heal just yet. Use a turn to put on the angel ring and focus on just hitting him.

Remember, dispair has a chance of causing fatigue which means he can only move or attack while affected. Try not using the sword since it has pretty meh accuracy compared to the gun. Right now we need a steady stream.

I would like to note that the golden watch is currently doing nothing much at all, and we've been told it picks its owner. If we are not meant to carry it, we wouldn't be able to keep it. Same goes for him.

Now this looks like something we can use. First, let's show our resident tinkerer the orb to see what she can do with it exactly. Being able to teleport or giving us some time based powers could give us a major edge. Hell, regeneration may come from it.

Also inform her about the connection to the golden watch. This may be important later on.

he sent a letter instead of a army? how droll. be ready for it being cursed though. have a simplistic rock golem open it from a distance.

What is the contents of Abel's letter?
