The fact that the stabbed man is armored highly suggests that he is some sort of soldier, so this seems more an act of war than a random killing.

>MEMORY ERROR
Fuckin... I knew I shouldn't have have gotten that cheap ass Human made AI.

You are the AI that is programmed into my Multi-environment Combat suit that is, in theory, supposed to help manage my suit functions and generally be helpful you piece of shit.

I am a Female Hathian serving in the Confederation Security Forces. I have been serving for nine years.

My current mission is to clear out this small pirate outpost of all hostiles using any means possible.

>That guy
The Human is dead although he got this red shit all over me.

>MURDERER!
I have been ordered to kill anyone in this Pirate outpost besides nobody will miss this Human.

>HOW DO YOU SEE?!

Really? You fell for that one?
Chances are we're probably just some poor schmuck that fell for the whole 'experiment for money' scam and got his brain fried into a black-market EI.

Face it, you got ripped off. Instead of a combat-grade AI, you've got a partially amnesiac brain-clone with poor-imaging induced schizophrenia.

EI stands for Electronic Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is pure programming, but an EI is usually a human brain that has been flash-cloned and translated into code. Upside is that it comes with a personality and morals, downside is that it comes with inefficient processing capabilities and is highly vulnerable to destabilizing if messed with, since it's patterned off the sensitive neurochemistry of a brain without the organic redundancies to repair such damage.

I guess that was it. Anyways the intel I got says that there is about eight Human enemy combatants and some enemy non-combatants in this section of the outpost. There are three other soldiers in our fireteam clearing out the other sections. My primary objective is to eliminate all hostile combatants and detain all non-combatants.

So basically kill everyone with a gun and tie everyone else up.

>Equipment
Well I have a gun, a pointy stabby thing and some small things that go boom.
In all seriousness I have a Accelerated Matter Rifle which accelerates matter drawn from the magazine as a liquid and formed inside the gun and then uses the energy from the battery that is inside the magazine to accelerate the now solid projectile at the target.
This also allows me set what kind of projectiles it shoots from Hollow points to armor piercing also I can change the amount of power the gun uses although this will drain the battery faster. The stock setting on the gun right now is armor piercing at normal power which will empty the battery and matter at the same time.
I also have 2 Explosive grenades and one Lethal Gas grenade 2 spare clips and a knife.

As for the equipment my suit comes with, that has to do with combat, I have a high frequency Active Echolocation Device, passive sonar mainly for navigation through buildings. Both are located in these ear things behind my head. I also have infrared, night vision and communications equipment.

>Dealing with Human Blood
I usually shoot people from a distance and stab them at the base of the spine instead of screwing up because of SOMETHING and stabbing them in an artery.

Hall looks clear, is there anything else you need to know or are you done yapping.

Go with the gas grenade, a few of them aren't wearing masks, and if it's something fun and cool like nerve gas then it won't matter if they wear masks or not.

I really don't think charging into enemy fire is the wisest thing as it is suicidal, reckless and just plain dumb, and so far I have been doing just that. I may have shields and be much better equipped but I am far from invincible. In any case the Intel is definitely inaccurate as there are way more then 8 enemy combatants here.

>>
No. 342833 ID: fb10df

You definitely need to use the cover of smoke to change position, as once it clears it'd be more than useful if your foes had no idea where you were. Do you have the general outline of the facility? Does this side room where the 'worker' died lead anywhere? Approaching the remaining gunmen from a different direction entirely would be advisable, though heading all the way back to the corner might be too far of a detour, as your objective IS to kill them all.

You do realize that this is a Military operation not some sort of cloak and dagger shit.

>Shields
I honestly don't know how they exactly work but what I do know is that they do recharge not fast enough to matter in combat but they do.
As for damage it really depends, if it gets hit by a tank shell or missle I would probably survive but my shields would be completely gone and I would be flung back a considerable distance. If its just kinetic weapons then it would take far less energy comparatively to take my shields down.
Energy based weapons will cut right through shields but if the shield manages to hold against the first shot the shield changes frequency to match it and subsequent shots will be absorbed by the shields, unless the weapon is changed to a different frequency. But sustained fire of a energy weapon on the same frequency can overload shields but is not possible with small arms.

I take cover behind the corner.

Alright here's a more detailed and complete map of the area. The things marked A and B are both lifts outside the outpost. A is a cargo lift. Before you ask, No we do not need to go outside, we have control of the area around the outpost.

For simplicity's sake everything is red or close to red for everything that isn't a friendly. Bright red X's are dead enemies. Bright red triangles are enemies that I have a fix on. Dark red triangles are where I last saw enemies. the more purple color stuff are the noncombatants, I don't have to take them alive but command prefers someone alive to interrogate and the more the better.

Also suit sensors have picked up another person entering the room.

So whats the plan?
>>
No. 346528 ID: cfa804

Well the only way a new person could arrive is back where that hostile and worker is, or the way you just came in. And while it would be our last one, the area back where the hostile's currently firing from is rather for a grenade, gas or fragmentation.

I put the gun on my back and get out my knife.

For some reason my auditory sensors were overloaded, I think I figured out why. Its a good thing I don't use my real ears to hear. In any case this also means I don't have sonar to map out adjacent rooms or detect sound.

They WERE overloaded or still ARE overloaded? Cause it looks like whatever sound or whatever did it is still affecting the humans. And as far as we're aware, we don't know what's caused it. So go snap the neck of the combatant that is disabled, and any others you may come across, but be cautious.

If you have a reliable method of incapacitating noncombatants while leaving them alive and in little to no danger of dying when you look another way, I guess you may proceed to do so. Otherwise, better kill them.

Also, judging by their reaction, the noise is unexpected. Do you know of any weapon or device capable of producing it? If not, I suggest you be extremely careful and alert: something fishy is going on.
