Okay, I'm gonna be fully honest. I tried to kill Artemis to come back to life.
Didn't really work out fully and I only ended up draining the Guardian and his GP. And you guys I suppose. I'll only last as long as I have some power.

Anyway let's explore a bit. It's night time now though and most of the stores are closed. Not that I could actually buy anything.

If you were going to be useful I'd say go spy on Regulus or the king, but I doubt you want to. Might not be safe anyway. Look around, do you see anyone familiar walking about at this late hour? Or anything else going on?

when you say you have a day... do you think that when the day is over you will reenter him? or are you just going to poof out of existence? you did try to drain him to recreate yourself, if you had partial success you might have fully removed yourself from him and yet are not stable enough to "survive" in current state, and die for real. Do you think you can reenter into him just before the day is over? do you think it would drain your power in the long term the longer you stay out (in which case you should return quickly) or that it wouldn't (in which case enjoy your day out)

And while he is the son of the man who killed you, he has actually stopped the fight between dragon of fire and dragon of water, you need him to slay the dragon of earth (assuming Regulus is, or working with it), and he has been really nice to you thus far, even willingly letting you manifest and take over his body at times. You can't keep judging mortals based on what they are, judge on who they are... And as powerful as dragons are, you are not invincible, if you keep mistreating mortals like that you really would all get wiped out.

Or you could be evil by going back and making Saisai kiss Artemis.
Or you could go flirt with Mimi.
Or you could go alter the records so it says Artemis had an honorable discharge.
Or you could go check in on Kane.
Or you could go to the Academy and see if anybody there could help make your hole in Art's head more comfortable.
Or you could go find a Fairy and enjoy your time together in a inappropriate way.

Yes, of course, Artemis is guilty for all the times he's tried to kill you and how he's gone out of his way to destroy you and all you hold dear.
...Except he hasn't and you're being a reckless and/or murderous bitch.
My sympathy for your problems is stretched thin; justifying acting against Artemis because some other jerk followed sinister orders he didn't understand, who has been dead for over a decade, whom you did already kill, just won't cut it.

Well... you could keep looking around for an unlocked door or exposed area, but you might be at that all night. And anyway it's probably pretty secure. Do the womens barracks have windows? I'm thinking that if you find Maggie she would let you in. But if the barracks themselves are locked down that wouldn't much matter. Can't say we've memorized the overall structure there too well.

What about vents and chimneys? It would be hard for anything big or humanoid to fit there and birds would avoid it so it may be accessible. Best bet for that would be the kitchen.

I guess just head towards where ever Regulus is, and be wary of guards and things. It would be better to hide early than be caught or waste your power.

Does the form matter to you? What if instead of a true dragon you were merely human or some other race, an animal, a construct or some permanent magical thing similar to what you are now? We'd really prefer to have you back to your original form but if you're in a rush we'll do whatever. Also, this little thing you did tonight is actually kinda neat. We should do it again sometime, when it's convenient.

I am voting king FIRST... if Regulus is who we think he is, and he has the ability to detect dragons (he knew about the wind dragon, probably) then it might be a better idea to first get what info you can on the king and save him for later.

Checking the king for the mark of earth might be worthwhile but I don't see how you could. If he goes to bed and sleeps naked sure that'd be easy. Otherwise there is mind control and seems a tad risky here, unless you feel like starting a conversation with him and just asking him. It's probably a better idea to move on to wherever Regulus is.

As far as being reborn goes, if you could try to not do anything crazy until we can do some research and visit the dark elves that would be nice. At least then we can see what our options really are. And in any case humans are awfully mortal, dark elves live much longer. Or does that even matter if it's you in the body?

We're going to need some powerful disguise magic, though, since we want Artemis and Saisai to simply vanish into the night and show up somewhere else completely unrecognizable.

We have the information and that is worth more than anything else we can learn. As it is Artemis could pretty much walk up to the king, challenge him for the crown and get it. But then we'd have another dead dragon and Artemis wouldn't live long enough to use his position before Regulus or someone else took it. So we need to use it to our advantage somehow, and get Artemis strong enough that he can handle and direct the consequences.

As far as what you can do for now, well you have the night to yourself I guess. You could check on anyone you like. Might be some fun to have at Morgans, but it's not like you won't see enough of that place. Talking to her or Mimi is another matter though, if you have something to say. Otherwise do whatever, if you see someone we know maybe have some fun with them.
