It's dark in a room. With only a faded blue tint illuminating the area from a near by pod. It's cold and it's wet, at least it is to....

Time to utilize what remaining strength you have. Putting your weight on one arm, reach up with your other and grab the first arm's chain. Then, using that leverage, see if you can break first that chain, then the other. Afterwards we may examine the material of your... orb. But wait, is it indeed that for some reason it is already open?

But wait, is it indeed that for some reason it is already open?

>After putting some pressure on the first chain, it breaks with a swift yank. POP. POP. the second chain gives away soon after. She lands on the bottom of the pod. Examining it. It appears to be made out of glass, but the inside of it is sticky instead of smooth, and there is strange blue clear glowing goop at the bottom. And as far as she can tell, the pod door open, is what let out all of the glowing gunk.

What IS the glowing gunk? Taste a VERY TINY bit to see what it tastes like so we can identify it.
What do you remember?
Go gather the stuff on the table. Wear the clothes.
>>
No. 266050 ID: 8d8786

Some quick elementary detective work indicates that, considering your partner two orbs over, that blue stuff is something akin to stomach acid and capable of stripping flesh from bone. Don't touch it if you can manage. While the middle apparatus is clearly broken beyond typical repair, it seems that your door was opened during whatever process the container was built for, thankfully releasing the stream of glowing blue acid whatevers.

Anyway, on to practical matters. Let's move to the table in front of you and get dressed, collecting all the useful bits and noting them down as you do so. Whilst doing all that, what do you recall of yourself and your situation? As detailed as you can be, if you please.

Damn, there are actually quite a few possibilities raging through my mind. Anyway you need a name, and I am far from too humble to name you. So henceforth you shall be called Penelope. Or Pen for short. This is now canon. Now please give us better insight as to your surroundings. Doors, windows, vents, signs... Anything really. All we have so far is a vague idea that there are three somethings beyond the table, one of which seems to have cracks.

Refill that nearly empty bottle with more glowy stuff. Yeah, it's sickeningly sweet and, if the skeleton is any indication, might be a little dangerous to take a bath in, but it's a light source and it could give you a boost in energy when you really need it.

Take the hat anyway. Even if you don't want to wear it you might think of something useful for it later. Like carrying stuff in it or concealing the goop bottle's glow.

While my initial establishment of the situation was that the goo was destructive in nature, it's possible that the reverse might be true. It's possible that it might be GROWING creatures. Potentially it creates a skeletal structure and then organs, muscle, and flesh. It would explain why there were no distinctly negative effects on eating it, as well as why these devices might be pre-programmed to discharge their remaining goo when the subject is fully formed. Also explains the energy boost one gains from a small taste of it, and how a bottle of goo might just be equivalent to a healing potion. This requires more thought and a later examination of Subject 1.

Okay it seems so far that our protagonist does not know how to read. The question is whether we can read for her, if she'd be so kind as to give us close-ups of whatever text we run into. Neither if I make my guess. Anyway this facility was clearly built for/around at least two different species, human and... whatever Nemo is. The access panel next to the door seems to be built to accept human-sized hands, and Nemo-sized paws. Since you're between the two, and are clearly not human and yet distinct from whatever Nemo was, and considering the video's promise of making a leap between relations, in all likelihood you're the experimental artificial offspring between the two species. While not considering DNA specifically, you might as well consider the three in that video to be your parents, or at least designers.

Oh and as for the yo-yo, I suppose that if we assume one has very tiny hands/paws and the string/yo-yo are very strong, it might make a rather useful grappling-hook and knotted-rope.

I still want to get a better view of the panel on the opposite side of the door.
