Grasping and clawing at the slippery riverbed, you drag your weakened form out of the water. The stars shine down upon your form as you reappraise yourself, and your past...

You are Lennon Glowscales, an Argonian, former thief, and now worshiper and deciple of the Almighty God of Flame, Bill. The favour of the Burning One is strong with you; he was present at your birth, and has intervened directly to save you from the wrath of Bob, God of Frost, in the past. To repay your debt, you have used your skills in destruction, illusion, and Daedra summoning to further his cause.

You take a moment to rest on the river bank, in the shadow of a large statue, and slowly feel your strength return. The scent of smoke drifts on the wind, and the sounds of convosation can be heard from somewhere within the ruins.

What do you do?

[Path of Daedra Chosen!]
[Path of Burning Lightning Chosen!]
[Path of Cunning Cats Chosen!]

[Intelligence: +5]
[Willpower: +5]
[Agility: +2]
[Speed: +1]

[Destruction: +18]

[New Spells: Flame touch, Summon Scamp, Bound Dagger, Shock, Mesmerizing Grasp, Eyes of Eventide]

[SPECIAL BONUS SPELL: NARCOLEPSY]
[Narcolepsy can put any creature to sleep for 9 seconds. Spell reflection and absorbtion may reflect/absorb the spell. The spell may only be used three times a day, +1 per level. So, currently four times a day. Creatures that are asleep can be stabbed, fireballed, etc, and will not wake up until the 9 seconds are up. Sleeping creatures may be snuck past more easily; they have no chance to notice you even if your sneak skill is horrid. If you are sneaking when you attack a sleeping enemy, if they did not see you before falling asleep, the first attack will always be a sneak attack, but they will realise you are there immedietly once they wake. Likewise, any creature that knows you're there before it falls asleep will think you're still around after it wakes up, and if they cannot see you, will search the area for you.]

Bill damn it, its dark...

You draw upon your recently regained knowledge of the arcane, the magicka flowing to your eyes and augumenting your sight. Suddenly you are able to see far better.

There has to be some way to make this thing NOT make everything look blue.

The sounds of convosation continue undisturbed. It appears whatever sounds you made in your desperate crawl from the river have gone unnoticed.

Sneak forward and peek around the wall to the left. See if there are any fools that shall be consumed by the flames of Bill's wrath.

You creep forward, rounding the nearby wall, to find... Nothing. The voices seem to be coming from behind more of the ruins in the distance. As you round the wall, your spell ends, but luckily it is slightly brighter outside of the shadow of the statue.

What do?

You sneak towards the voices, picking your way with care through the rubble and ruins, before coming to a gap in the wall. The light of a campfire shines through, and you can see a man in rough furs wandering about with a bow.

Eh, thats not good...

You try to sneak closer, but after a second, yells of alarm erupt from the camp! A man in rags runs through the gap and straight past you, an arrow sticking from his gut.

What the fu-...!

You start in surprise, but he passes without noticing you.

Turning back to the gap, a mob of fur-dressed men come thudding after the man! They appear heavily armed.

Ooooooh sheeeeeeet.

You could probably get one spell in before they reach you, and they haven't noticed you yet.

Do you attack, flee, or remain still and see if they pass?

2 Iron Greataxes. A normal looking bow. A ton of fur armour...

They will deal a lot of damage, and going against so many at once would be very very bad. Running sounds better.

Fling spells at them while retreating. They shall taste the firey wrath of Bill for daring to oppose his disciple.

Let them pass, and if one of of them comes after us, then engage him in combat of spells.

Afterall, the script dictates that they do not break off pursuit unless threatened by an assult. If you stand there, they will deal with their current target before coming for you.

You back away slightly, and prepare to cast a spell, but the group runs past you, ignoring you...

Huh, that went we-

Till suddenly a green flash illuminates the area, and the bandits freeze in place. Your muscles tense, and become immovable, as your paralized form slowly topples over.

Grah! What? I can't move!

A man in metal armour runs past you, and continues after his target, trampling his immobile bandits in his haste. Your prone form rolls around to face the camp, but after a few seconds your muscles obey you once more. Standing and turning, you see the man slashing at the recovering bandits. As you watch, another is dispatched with a quick stab.

Woah...

The bandit turns to flee, and the man runs off in pursuit of him. You cease hiding in the shadows, and run after the pair, flinging fire at the running form of the bandit. In a short while, the man catches up to him, and quickly dispatches him.

This done, he turns to you, and wanders over.

"I am looking for a strong warrior. One with the ability to defeat the most powerful of foe. Are you one of such?"

You consider for a moment, realising that the paralyzing spell must have come from this man.

He needs a strong warrior? He could kick me from here to Bruma!

After a moment, however, you decide to accept, informing him that you are in fact a strong warrior, and ask his name.

"No time for that, the matter is urgent! Will you assist me?"

You again accept.

"I will help you, with my mighty strength! For I am strong!"

He grins, and responds.

"Then... I must kill you. Prepare yourself."

Wait, what? OH BILL'S BALLSACK!

The man is standing directly in front of you, reaching for his sword. Your dagger is drawn, ready to use, and you'd probably get halfway through a spell if you cast one now. You could also move while attacking or spellcasting.

Sleep the bastard and then run like fuck. Get some distance between you and then hit him with all you got in magical lights and whistles.

If he's still alive when he wakes up then hit him with a mesmerizing touch and summon a scamp to keep him distracted while you pour more fire at him for the glory of Bill. We're gonna show this fucker what happens with those who mess with a disciple of Bill.

Right, if this guy's going to be a dick and just try to kill me without even telling me his name... I'm going to kill him. Bill Style.

The man draws his blade and darts forward, as you prepare your spell. He manages one menecing step towards you before the spell hits, and he falls flat on his face! You turn and retreat to a safe distance.

You near the bandit's campsite, and turn to see the man lifting himself off the ground. He turns towards you, and screams a wordless challange as he begins to charge.

You quickly summon a scamp, and it begins to stalk towards your attacker, as you prepare to fire a barrage of fireballs at your foe.

Your first fireball streaks through the air, gliding past the Scamp, who fires his own to follow it...

And a horrific explosion tears at the air, as the fireballs impact simutaniously on the man! The light is incredible, nearly blinding you, as a wave of heat and flame erupt from the now melting flesh of your foe! The wet earth dries and crackles, the air becomes oppressive with heat, the metal of the man's armour buckles and creaks, glowing red in the center of a rose of flame.

You hear the man's war-cry crack as the flame enters his throat, choking his voice, cooking his flesh from within. After a moment, the still standing man is silent, and falls.

The echos of the explosion have cleared the air of all other noise, and an unnatural silence hangs in the air.

You watch as the man's corpse burns.

Wh... Wha... Woah. Bill. Holy Bill....

THAT WAS AWESOME! HELL YEAH!

You grin gleefully at the burning corpse, and take deep breaths of the warm air, now filled with the smell of cooking flesh.

"HAHAH! Good ol' Bill! Let this be a lesson to all who would stand against the God of Flame!"

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!"

An elderitch voice screams from behind you...

You turn to see the new threat, and face an etheral being, black as midnight, staring at you with blank eyes.

Destroyed my canvas you have, my beautiful work of blood and death, my work wasted... But your deathcraft, intriguing, pleasing... You have taken the life of he who lays here before us...

Oh Bill, who is this guy?

The odd being continues, staring at you and blinking slowly as he talks in his chilling tones...

" Sad? Why would I be sad, when I have once again been able to glimpse into death's dark core, the eternal void of blackened soul? I am one step away, but you will never reach me. You can call me Mirage."

Well, at least this one gave me a name.

"You have two paths, my dear... Come with me, and maybe die later. Or give me the pleasure of seeing your last moments... Such bittersweet, blissful moments...

...Will you walk the path I follow?

You decide that Mirage is probably more powerful than the other guy, and may actually hit you. While your Scamp is still scampering about nearby, you decide not to push your luck.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Come to the shrine of Namira. I will explain all there."

Mirage shifts slightly, and the world around you warps. After a fraction of a second, it snaps back, and you are standing alone, except for your Scamp, which appears to be sniffing around the no longer burning corpse.

It occurs to you that you really ought to think up a name for your Scamp. After all, it can through a fireball almost as well as you.

The fact that the corpse, and the corpses of the bandits, have not been looted, also comes to mind...

You look down at your hands reflectively, remembering the sense of power that flowed through them as you flung that fireball...

And the power once more flickers a fin, a simple feeling of potential, the ability to become something more...

Looking around, and seeing nothing else of interest, you proceed to the looting! The bandit's corpses hold little of interest; there is a plentiful number of daggers, bows, arrows, fur armour, a few coins, and the occasional lockpick. One of the bandits appears to have been carrying a watermelon around, for whatever reason.

The man who attacked you has slightly better fare; iron armor, and an odd potion on his body.

The various pieces of fur and iron armour are becoming quite heavy, so you drop most of them on the ground; if you wish to take some of them, you'll have to drop a few other items.

Looking around the campsite, you also find a few arrows, some boots, some mutton, a clove of garlic, and a book entitled "Immortal Blood".

After this is done, you turn to your scamp.

"Alright, Scamp, I have decided-"

The spell's duration complete, the scamp vanishes.

"...screw you, Bandit."

Sorry for long delay, trouble at work. Anyway, image includes entire inventory. Items crossed with red lines are items used for mod management (facial expression changers, fire-arrow generator, etc). They don't exist ICly, with the only exception being the Parnter's Rings, because they've already been mentioned ICly.

You place your mortar and pestle on the ground, and throw a fireball at it!

"Hah, it's all fired up now!"

You then wait for it to cool, before grabbing the rough stone and using it to grind and bash as much fruit as you have into a mushy juice, which you then bottle.

This done, you dump a selection of the more useless items by the now naked corpse of a Dunmer bandit. As you do so, you look up, and see the sun begin to rise. It's a brand new day.

What should you do? You could head to the city, or investigate the ruins further. Or you could head out to the wilderness and explore. Or you could catch some Z's in the bandit's camp. After all, you've been up all night.

Since you dropped a lot you should be able to carry a few more items. Take as much as you can, then take a nap in the bandit camp. To do the work of Bill you must keep up your strength!
Read that book you found also, it might have something interesting in it.

Sleeping around corpses you just made in their previous camp is a bit too morbid, atleast for now, who knows where stuff will take you?

Anyway, go to the city and sell crap. Find a nice place to take a nap and read the book.
