Light pours into your eyes from the end of a long hall. You now realize what is going on.

You are fighter pilot in the Imperial Armada. Your regiment is travelling with a massive space convoy of nearly a hundred ships towards the frontlines.
Nonessential staff was put into cryosleep during the week-long trip to save supplies and out of convenience. Now, the crew is being roused back up to defend the convoy.

Without your permission, the Field Manual Database begins to install itself onto your suit from the computer. It must be part of the emergency contingent protocol that the ship's computer mentioned.

It strikes you as very useful that you now have an entire cross-referenced technical encyclopedia at your disposal, and installed on your visor computer, no less!

It looks like your right control sheath is snapped from its mount, which would explain why your wrist is hurting so badly.

From the ceiling, numerous wires hang. It's hard to tell which are live and which are not.

To your right is that hatch, slightly open and letting a thin sliver of light inside.

See if you can pry open the hatch. If not try to get a peek outside.

You're not entirely certain, but you think that's a generator. However, you are certain that that it should not be poking out the back wall. Had it slid another fifteen feet, it would have crushed you in your chair.

The S1 Service Pistol. You know it as well as any other soldier of the empire. It's a fast-firing, fast-reloading handheld railgun that uses two magnetic rails to launch bullets at incredible speeds. Once, you saw one that was overcharged explode as it ignited the very air around it.

It's incredibly easy to use, maintain, and disassemble for parts. In fact, the battery it runs off is built into the ammo clip so that they don't have to be managed separately.

You squeeze past the generator a bit to hook the backup engine to the life support's thermostat module. However, as the generator is down, you have to use 1 of your 2 Power Cells to keep it going. It's not meant for this, so you don't know how long it will take to deplete.
