Pearl asks Orange if his throat hurts. He responds that his voice is just changing. It's been doing this since he went through puberty.

Pearl thinks Orange seems like a trustworthy sort of guy, and gives him a piece of the royal diadem. He pulls out a thick pair of glasses and inspects it in confusion, then offers a nervous "thank you".
His voice jumps on the second word like a pizza-faced delivery boy.
