Mudy sees the citywall a little distance away. At the bottom is some sort of bustling market, storage and auction, with cargo being unloaded and loaded onto Sandworms.

Mudy sneaks over to the citywall, making sure to stay out of sight just incase there are slavers.
From up close the chaos is alot less - Most men are standing in line in front of a desk, where a dark elf hands them some sort of currency, then gestures to large burly men to carry cargo into the city wall, presumably into the city.
The trading seems to have been streamlined to near perfection, and Sandworms deliver cargo and leave again with little delays.

Well We make Stilleto the ruler. so it goes like this.

Stilleto - In charge of kingdom.
Rapier - Under Stilleto, in charge of military, acting general.
Halberd - In charge of trade and overseer of economy, still reports to Stilleto
Katana and Bolt - Really nothing much for them to do.

I don't know... I can see ways this can backfire.

What if Rapier wishes to continue expansion with the military, against the wishes of Halberd and Stiletto. What will exactly stop him leading a civil war? I get the impression he's a military man so the troops will probably be on his side. I can foresee bickering.

But this is just my opinion, it might turn out perfectly fine.
>>
No. 13217 ID: 2e1743

I'd assume we're not in Rapier's territory. He suggested that we be careful in the territory of the other Dark Elf lords, so we should do such.

However... That's simply the best route for us to get to where we need to be. So, perhaps a bit of mischief wouldn't be terrible.

Let's continue to sneak about, but let's find out who's in charge here. I'm not completely familiar with the Darkelf Heirarchy and who would be in control of trade, but this sounds like an entertaining way to find out.

Mudy figures he can't just walk past the men at the desks and wander back to the city. The trading post seems specifically designed to get cargo in and keep people out. He can't see them make an exception without a proper reason.
He'd hide in one of the crates to get inside, but the giant sword he looted is too big to travel with him unless he risks some serious injury.

And lose what very well might be a powerful magical artifact? We dragged that from a crazy temple where the 9000+ year old Dark Elf Matriarch was. I assume that this sword is non-standard.

What are we? We are Boldling, act as such. Withdraw thine merry flute, play a delightful tune and make a grand entrance, introducing yourself as Mudy, newly ordained court bard for lord Darkmoon Rapier! Encourage these kind fellows to escort you to your liege, for surely they know the way!

And if perhaps they work for some other lord and they escort you to them... Well, I do so enjoy meeting new people.

Mudy tears a part of cloth from a nearby bale; It's tough and thick, perfect for wrapping around the sword. He leaves the tip free for manipulating things with, which comes in handy for opening any crates.
He takes a moment to decide what kind of cargo he should infiltrate. There's a large variety of them, and more arrive as others are taken away.

Mudy decides that he needs to board a crate with soft things that also won't be looked at needlessly: He decides on lingerie.
After carefully checking which crates go into the city and which are leaving it, it becomes clear that Dark Elves love lingerie, as they are all imports.
He breaks one open and hops in. Soon the crates is closed properly again and Mudy can feel it being lifted and carried away.
After a good walk leaving Mudy rather motionsick the crate is put back on the ground.

Oh, this is quite unfortunate! You seem to be in the same room as a dark elf woman, taking claim of these items!

Well, it's obvious you must not panic, as that'll only make matter more interesting, err, worse. Yes, that's the ticket. So whatever you do, do not accidentally weaken the integrity of the box, causing it and it's contents (including you) to spill out in front of this lovely lady.

Though such a thing wouldn't be too terrible. You could smile abashedly and stammer out some silly nonsense about how good their taste is.

But short of what you probably shouldn't do... Well, no, actually, this might be best. A bit of stammering foolishness might at the very least partially endear yourself to the lady~

She had hoped that her descendants would have a firmly established an prosperous government going by now, and was disappointed to hear of the alliance with the Skullking and the seeming loss of your people's direction. She commanded me to bring back word that she does not intend to return, and that she fully expects her children to start working together for the good of Firewater. And operating as a part of the Skullking's army will only lead to the death of your culture and your social enjoyments. So, are you willing to support an alliance with the other nations to put an end to the Skullking? Great, we got Stiletto on our side now.

Hrm, do we want to even bother with Bolt and Katana? Bolt has the racial superiority thing going, and Katana doesn't seem like a rebellion/alliance dealie would sit well with his pacifism.

On the other hand, if we could get the whole royal family to work together, I imagine things will go a great deal more smoothly than if we only got a majority.

So, I vote we head to see Katana first, since he is on our way to Rapier or slightly out of our way if we are heading to Bolt, so either way it saves time to visit him now.

>"W-well, two things... The first thing is...You don't seem to know that...I'm a boy, right?"

Mudy feels Stiletto flinch slightly at the mention, but the prince does not show shock in any other way.
>"I vhas suspectink.. Go on."

Mudy clears his throat again.
>"I.. I was wondering if you knew any particular way of dealing with a lover that...Well...Won't stop trying to get into my little pants all the time. Even when I was meeting with your brother, Darkmoon Rapier."

Stiletto remains quiet for a moment.
>"Even tryink to doink sexy time in public?"

Mudy nods silently.
He can see a thoughtful look on the prince's face.

>"Vhell.. Have you thinkink that perhaps lover is tryink to show affection?"
, he finally suggests.
>"Maybe is beink very happy vhith you. Love is beink powerful emotion."

Stiletto is a friend.

"Yes, but it's quite annoying. I've tried telling her to stop but she seems to ignore me."

"Well...I understand that perfectly."

"But her way of showing affection is to run a hand up my thigh and trying to fondle my extremities." Give a little frown at the thought.
"If it was kissing, hugging or holding on to me affectionately, this wouldn't be a problem."

"She does this at all these inappropiate times. Its becoming quite detrimental to our cause because she forces me to be unable to think straight when I need to."

"I've tried talking to her, but...Nothing. She doesn't care about a thing I say. She just likes making me squirm."

New plan.

Buy Raital flowers. Take her to dinner. Play her musics by candle light. And just cuddle.

If she tries to get touchy feely bap her with the flowers.

>"I-I think so. Thank you, Prince."

Darkmoon Stiletto rises from the bench and disappears through the curtain.
Mudy can hear the cries of a hundred women welcome him back with excitement and warmth. Something in their voices tells Mudy that all of them truly love the prince.

He's left alone in the office holding an unidentified drink.

On the one hand, Stiletto turned out to be a pretty nice guy.
On the other, CRIPPLING PARANOIA BECAUSE EVERY OTHER PERSON WE MEET IS PLOTTING AGAINST US
What to do...
Well I suppose he isn't here to be offended. Let's just put it down and quietly excuse ourselves out the back door.

A) He probably knows that stuff is messing with our stomach.
B) He told us the way out via a back door.
C) Why would a guy like him spike your drink? He really has nothing to gain from it, and he obviously ain't keen on doing it with a guy.

Mudy takes a sip from the drink. The flavor is sweet and soft, like milk with honey.
He finishes it and leaves the cup on Stiletto's desk, then exits out the back door.

Without knowing exactly why, Mudy feels better.

...Does this mean we're going to be fondling and having sex in public now and being dragged off in the middle of important stuff?

Because can't we just show our affection by trying really hard off screen so it wastes less time?

I think she will cool down if we actually do romantic nice things for her instead of just seducing her whenever she gets upset and just being aggrivated with her otherwise.
