Only a few races seem to talk about them, though. Many races have their own creation myths that have nothing to do with these 'makers'.
We amtsvane have a whole different idea on that, for instance.
But we've run into just enough races with this one creation myth that it's starting to feel less like a coincidence.
If a 'maker' made your world, they probably tuned its magical properties to its other creations.
You're saying the gods intended for the mortals to eventually infuse themselves with magic?
It's possible! They seem to have their own ideas for how a world 'evolves', from learning technology to using 'magic.'
Chei himself would often talk about 'magic', but he was never able to make use of it.
