Psychic powers are more believable than something ignoring the square cube law.

I saw some die rolls in the thread for Nem's Quest, and there's something I wonder:

Why are the results of dice rolls ON TOP of the post? It gives the false impression that the dice were rolled before posting, which we all know is false.
Why aren't the results at the bottom of the post? It would make it immediately obvious that the dice were rolled after the posted clicked Submit...

Does it matter? Everyone who knows how the dice function works already knows that dice are rolled after you submit.

I think this orders in the set of worries way below "why is it in the e-mail field?" and "why is it even still called an e-mail field when the only people who use it for e-mail are newcomers who don't know any better?"

If I might, I find the die rolls confusing when I re-read my posts. Using Random.org screenshots seems more natural. I've been lurking for awhile and just figured out the die rolls recently. If anyone's got feedback 'bout them I'm listening.

I've been reading boards for years, and I still don't "know" to the point that I instinctively see the rolls happen *after* the post.
After all these years, it's still something that has to be "corrected by the brain" the next second.

This means it stays confusing for a loooong time. It's an extra step one *always* has to take, for no good reason.

These two posts are amusing together.
