Last day of Autumn sale.
Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga - A pretty good RPG with fantastic writing. Comes with the expansion and fixes all the issues that Divinity II had at launch. About 60 hours long. $9.99 (75% off)
Bastion - Action game with very responsive control and fast-paced gameplay. Sound is where Bastion especially shines, with an outstanding soundtrack and a constant dynamic narrator that tells Bastion's interesting story in an unobtrusive way. Something around 8 hours for a single playthrough, but New Game+, Idols, and just starting over have gotten this to 41 hours for me. $10.04 (33% off)
STALKER series - Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat are both great FPS games in an interesting setting, but Clear Sky has poor design decisions that ruin the experience. Each game is about 20-30 hours long depending on how many sidequests you do. $17.49 for a bundle of the two good games (50% off)
Torchlight - Pretty good action RPG made by the creators of Diablo and Diablo II. Extremely variable playtime, you can blow through it pretty quickly if you want to. Most people find "Normal" to be too easy. $7.49 (50% off)
Defense Grid: The Awakening - Very polished Tower Defense game, with varying levels of mazing depending on the level. The playtime you'll get out of this depends on whether you enjoy replaying levels with increased difficulty and restrictions or not. Just playing through the game is somewhere around 10 hours. $4.99 (50% off)
King's Bounty series - Based on the old King's Bounty game, these are massive strategy games with character progression and a good deal of customization. The game is pretty solidly balanced, and many different strategies will work. Unless you're not playing on the Impossible difficulty, in which case no strategy will work and you will just curl up to your frogwife and cry. I got 85 hours out of King's Bounty: The Legend just going through the game once, and I have 93 hours in Armored Princess/Crossworlds. An important thing to note is that the Crossworlds expansion has an updated version of the Armored Princess campaign, so unless you want to play it twice you should probably do the Crossworlds version of it. $17.49 (50% off) is the bundle price for both games and the expansion to the second, and I think both games are worth playing.
