Is borderlands marked as being capable of using more than 2GB?

That's... an incredibly specific thread topic. I guess there's that one message that appears when you kill something you shouldn't and Windows is like "the fuck are you doing, retard. I'm closing this shit in 60 seconds."

See, you have to open command prompt and write like maybe 15 characters to get rid of it. That's sorta annoying.

The funny part is when the program keeps working perfectly in the background as long as you don't close the error message window.

shutdown -a

The fun part is when certain services are marked as 'critical' and cause an instant reboot. They put a whole bunch of them on this list in vista, and guess what? They're not ACTUALLY critical to keeping the system running. Kill them in XP and you have a perfectly still-running but terribly crippled system.

That one and the "Windows could find VIRUS.EXE" after booting when you partially remove a virus...

Making a program use more than 2Gb of RAM requires some coding stuff that is not currently standard, and which game studios are currently having to educate themselves in.

Nope! That's Vista throwing that error.
Banderlords doesn't even come close to the 1gb mark, and it'd be trowing a UEngine error dialog if that somehow managed to happen.
