Because /draw/ should be used for SOMETHING dammit. Full canvases or close-up images or just anything you'd like to save. I ended up missing a lot of them, so I definitely would like to see some. I'll start with last night's one that Test did, we had a nice conversation during it, good times all around at sleepless o'clock.


-OC Information-
Download OC at http://wistinga.online.fr/opencanvas/
Connect to 192.81.249.88, using port 9001, 9020, or 9030.
Each port has its own canvas. 9001's canvas is 3000x3000, and 9020/30 has a canvas of 2000x2000.

When you connect, if there is a canvas being drawn on, it'll begin syncing. You can see how synced you are by clicking 'Network" at the top and selecting "Show NetworkWindow". Do not draw anything until it reaches 100%. Otherwise you risk breaking the canvas for everyone.

OC must be in focus to stay synced. If you alt tab, be sure to let it reach 100% again before drawing. The canvas resets about 1-2 minutes after everyone is disconnected, so be sure to save the OC, and ask everyone to leave (or move ports) to start a new session.

The oC server has a couple of helpful commands to make oCing easier on you. To find out what users are currently on the server, type /who. To lock (or unlock) a layer specifically to you, type /lock or /unlock on a selected layer.

No one themselves did, it was oC that does that.
Someone had accidentally (Test thinks it was him) drew out of sync (which means drawing when the art on the canvas isn't finished loading) which, for reasons not established, causes oC to error for everyone and crash. It also does that line shit for people sometimes, taking whatever color you currently have and just going to town. It is a bug that occurs when oC fucks up. Been happening even before this server stuff was made and all you had were 4 person oCs.

See, you just leant toward TQ. Bear in mind that facehuggers work equally well on humans, giant pilot races, and predators. That they can work with Tozol genetics is not beyond the realms of soft sci-fi.

I believe that if you look more closely you will find that not only does the lorhke in question have red dealie-bobs and not purple, but they retain the left arm which he lost during the events of Journey Quest, and therefore could not be the same person as Tav Unt'bel, assuming of course that the picture takes place in a post-Journey Quest portion of the time line, that Lorhke can not dye their glowwy bits in any way possibly for mating dances, or that this is not the alternate universe Tav of Layridin-1610 where the Lorhke enslaved the Engsami until a certain young Winged Engsami killed their leader and blinded Tav in one eye, at the noble cost of one of her wings.

the legs were just an odd idea I had and wanted to try out. The idea being that, since the electric Lohrke's technomancy is all based off of Shocker Crabs, it would kind of make sense if they inspired the aesthetics of their devices too. I mean, the barrel of the Shock Lance looks kind of like a crab claw. I had the idea to make Lohrke tanks (briefly mentioned near the end of the quest) half-tracks instead of full on tanks, and put sort of crab legs on the front of the Shock Tanks.

You missed the most important part:
TOUCH NUZZINK

You need to re-open the network window once it's finished connecting and look at the percentage in the title bar. If it's not at 100% sync, don't click anything or you'll corrupt the canvas for everyone because it's shit. And don't click the little plus signs in the layers list either. Showing and hiding them lags it for everyone too. Also the damn thing will only sync when it has focus, although there are various chicken-waving tricks people advocate like minimizing it that sometimes work.

The end result of a long, awkward session in Flockdraw. I advise against ever going to that site, for any reason. I'm serious. Never go there. Not even if going to that site is the ransom for your only daughter's life. It's just not worth it. It's not worth your life. If somebody point a gun at you and tells you to go to Flockdraw, grab the gun and shoot yourself, because at least then you'll have never gone to Flockdraw and can thus die with dignity.

Huh, some of the extra splotches on this layer didn't get removed for everyone. So I guess Nyanchat syncing isn't perfect, especially sometimes with the placement of sprayed brushes. Oh well, certainly easier to fix a psd than to recover when oC freaks out and scribbles giant lines across the canvas before crashing.

KAY SO I have had a private pchat for several years and I am now opening it up to everyone! I only ask a few things:

>RULES
1) DO NOT CLEAR THE CANVAS unless you get permission from everyone and everyone who wants to take screenshots has
2) ask before you start to draw to make sure the place you are drawing is clear (sometimes the canvas splits and overlapping happens)
3) respect eachother and be civil
4) Do not erase other people's art without permission
5) you can draw whatever the fuck you want, SFW or NSFW is fine, just nothing NSFL

That's all! If the pchat canvas splits let me know via IRC or however and I'll get the site master to fix it. Usually just resetting the canvas will fix it but sometimes when you reset the canvas it'll break. If the canvas doesn't load for you, clear your cache. Have fun!

The smoother needs work. Like seriously needs work. For some reason it's picking up a load of jitter at low levels, and it's omits the start of strokes and otherwise fucks around at higher levels.

Which is a pain since the rest of it is way better.

It's better for scribbling, worse for inking.

There's no synchronization issues, you can join late in a session and be ready to draw in seconds, users can make and modify their own layers and cut/copy/paste... but holy crap, inking is frustrating.
