Goshen has kept his word to you, has he not? He has gone to great lengths to avoid having to eat you, and sure, he may be a bit strict on what he expects out of us, but then, he expects the same or more out of himself, and he hasn't belittled, abused or beaten us, even when we ran away (for legitimate reasons) from his fight earlier.
Plus, this is the guy who said he would free us. Seeing as how he has kept his other promises to you, he will probably free you later. So really, even if you aren't that big of a fan of the northerners as a group, at least Goshen has been fair with you, hasn't abused you and has kept his word.
Besides, whereas Goshen has endeavored to improve you and to keep you alive (just as you have done the same for him), Shadran staked you to the ground as bait for traps, threatened us with death should we not stay silent. Comparing the two leaves Goshen the clear better person to follow.
Besides, even if the bandit plot is hurting the northerners, it is very likely it is hurting other southerners as well. These people aren't noble thieves, stealing for justice like some sort of fairy tail, they are stealing and acting for a clear alterier motive (even if you don't know what that motive is yet).
Aside: Say Aphek, how about the helmet from the one human, both of their capes, their swords and their boots? I have heard that decently cobbled shoes for humans or large pieces of cloth with designs can be reasonably valuable, and weapons that aren't in piss-poor condition are always worth something. And the helmet of the one might fit you (even if it does not, if it didn't get damaged it should be worth something). So maybe you should check the corpses, and see what items they possess are undamaged from Goshen's feeding.
