TGMUD (outdated)
TGMUD is a text-based action/adventure game. It is currently developed by quest authors and the project is headed by Squeegy AKA John_Freeman. The areas are constantly expanding, new quests, enemies, and things to do are added daily, hourly, even minutely. A tutorial is fairly fleshed out.

The different areas are connected either by land or by the Realm of Infinite Psyche, which has two rooms. The downstairs is a hub of portals (cracks in reality) that lead to different places which can be viewed with the 'look' command. The upstairs is a lounge, including a respawning torch chest, leather couch, and water cooler of infinite psyche. It is a good meeting and regrouping area for players.
