Dwarf

A race of short humanoids appearing in some quests.
They tend to be short, stout, prone to industry, as well as averse to sobriety.
Dwarves are wide, strong, but height-challenged humanoids. They are often hairy and pride themselves on their commonly long and well-maintained beards. They live underground when they can manage it, working with their advanced tools in their various crafts and toils. Dwarves are generally shown as at least fond of alcohol, if not completely dependent on it. Of course they feature heavily in Dwarf Fortress.
Given the popularity of Dwarf Fortress, Dwarves in tg/tgchan culture tend to be on the unstable side, with violent reactions to the most minor of stimuli, a willingness to risk life and limb for a dead kinsman's bloody sock, and a penchant for construction of impossibly large monuments.
Dwarves are generally shown as at least tolerant of Humans, barely tolerant of Elves, and downright belligerent towards Kobolds and Goblins.
Dwarves feature in Glukmil Quest, as well as plainly being central in Dorf Quest.
They have side roles in Whitespace and Cutebold Slaughter Fest as well as Gobbo Quest and Fortune's Call.
