- This article is about humans as a species. For other uses see: Human.
Homo sapiens. The race that the vast majority of quest authors and quest readers belong to, and a smaller percentage of quest characters.
Notable Examples
This list is not comprehensive (even more so than other race articles! There's a lot of humans). Sorted chronologically.
- Kara of Kara Quest
- The various characters of the Romanticar Series
- Steve of PokémonQuest, originator of the Steve shirt.
- June of June Quest
- Tory of Tory's Tower
- Tae of CheeQuest, the first Lago character with a chest. Hard to believe this was once a rarity!
- Wendel of AsteroidQuest.
- Ysabel!
There are also many examples characters who have transcended their humanity, whose humanity is questionable, or otherwise push the envelope of the definition of 'human'. Be this a result of ascension, consciousnesses upload, mutations, biological alteration, zombification, etc.
- Mitzi of Tozol Quest
- 73-6 and the moldies of Static on the Wire. Also Sara. And 73-6-2.
- Alice of Bloom
- Marie of Rollback
- The "artificial intelligences" of Memoriam
There are also examples of characters who are essentially human, but stylistically depicted as inhuman... which in the interest of avoiding a subjective morass will not be covered in any detail here.
