One-shot quests are quests that reach their completion shortly after their beginning - essentially, the /quest/ equivalent of short stories or flash fiction. No, not that[[http://1d4chan.org/wiki/PROMOTIONS]] kind of flash fiction, you perv. They typically run in a single or in a short series of update sessions and arrive at some kind of conclusion. They differ from abandoned quests in that they actually do reach some form of conclusion, rather than simply being dropped.
