A quest by Plague. Based in the Nahala-verse. Jack "Burns" Silver is an aging veteran who has been called into active duty by his government, the Ten Generation Confederacy, after being invaded by the Western Coalition. At the end of this war, he is sent on one final mission: to retrieve a classified national treasure, called Keoradine's Second Tear. It is here the story opens, and here that Burns' life comes to an end, in more ways than one.
For the first five and a half chapters, updates are drawn with a mouse. Midway through chapter six, the author began using a tablet.
The quest itself is known for its suggestions heavily influencing the course of the story, and for player interaction being more about interacting with the characters than solving puzzles or exploring areas. As a result, poor choices by readers are often severely punished, whereas reasonable ones have a variety of effects, which are tallied with the outcome of certain chapters.
